Amber is a community-taught, transdisciplinary artist and designer based in Portland, Oregon, whose practice thrives at the intersections of print, sculpture, ecology, and social systems. Guided by an urgency to respond to the climate crisis and a belief in art as collective medicine, Amber’s work investigates the tangled relationships between humans, materials, and the natural world. Their research-driven practice weaves together conceptual inquiry and tactile process to create visual testaments to interdependence, resilience, and care.
